Review CD-Release "On Track" @ Bimhuis, Susanne Alt Quartet
In a packed Bimhuis on saturday 7th february 2009 in Amsterdam Susanne Alt presented her
3rd cd "On Track" featuring Bruno Speight (Maceo Parker Band,SOS Band) on guitar,
Thijs Cuppen on piano and keys,Sven Schuster on double bass and Philippe Lemm on drums.
The cd also features Fred Wesley on trombone. Susanne will be playing with Fred Wesley and
the New JB's in the Sugar Factory,Amsterdam on monday 16th february and another 3 gigs
in France (Orleans,Angouleme,Saint Nazaire).
Following an outstanding performance in front of a very enthousiastic sellout crowd Susanne
attended the after-party meeting friends and fans till 3AM. While Dj Ralphonzo was selling loads
of cd's Dj Jakski,Dj WilmP and Dj Gnozep rushed to the nearby Salto Studio's for another
TransistorFunkRadio broadcast which ofcourse included a song from Susanne Alt's new cd "On Track".
