DJ GUNS A.K.A. "THE DEAD AIR SPECIALIST"

Not the most active of dj's and seldom featured...still these rare ocasions have been memorable!
Unlike the majority of the funk on over at TransitorFunk Radio, DJ Guns specializes mostly in
rare old funk and soul from the late sixtees to the early seventees but he can produce some
thumping p-funk when duty calls for it...

Most memorable show:
5-5-2007: Jakski & Guns at the controls!
After an hour of smoking funk on the decks it was time for some smoking
fun for the dj's. We put on "Never buy Texas from a cowboy"
(a nice long tune to give us time to smoke) and the minute we closed
the studio door behind us we realized we forgot something...only to find
out we couldn't get back in!

All our stuff was still in there and it was 1 o'clock in the morning on a
saturday night...no other people in the building.
We stayed until we heard the album finish (through the door) and left.

We later found out that we've been transmitting the last groove on the
record (TICK-silence-TICK...etc.) for the remaining hour of the show
before the computer kicked in with random music.

Classic radio!

Here is the first hour of the show:
